Install and get started
What do I need to use RolePocket?
Use the RolePocket extension in desktop Chrome to capture jobs, and the web app to review saved jobs and application progress.
Choose a plan on the website, continue with Google and complete your subscription to open your workspace. Installing the extension does not purchase a subscription.
How do I install the Chrome extension?
- Get the Chrome extension from the official Chrome Web Store. Choose Add to Chrome and review the permissions before confirming.
- Open Chrome's Extensions menu next to the address bar and pin RolePocket so it is easy to find.
- Open RolePocket and choose Sign in with Google. Check that the email shown in the extension matches the account you use on the website. If Chrome uses another account, use a Chrome profile signed in to the intended Google account.
How do I save my first job?
- Open a public job posting and choose Capture Job. Keep the job tab open while the extension reads it. Once the capture is queued, you can close the popup.
- Reopen RolePocket to check Recent captures. When the job is saved, choose Open jobs table and check its details in your workspace.
Capture public job postings and omit private messages or sensitive personal details. Read how capture uses your data before your first capture.
Capture problems
Why does my capture say "Waiting to upload"?
The page has not yet been accepted by RolePocket. Keep Chrome running with the same account signed in and reconnect to the internet so the extension can retry the upload.
Can I close Chrome while a capture is processing?
Yes, once it says "Capture queued" or "Processing", RolePocket has accepted it. Processing can continue with the popup or Chrome closed. Reopen Recent captures to check the result.
How can I tell whether my job was saved?
Reopen Recent captures and check your saved jobs before capturing again. A closed popup or connection error does not necessarily mean that the job was not saved.
What should I do if a capture fails or a page cannot be read?
Open the result in Recent captures and use Try again if offered. This retries that capture. If the page could not be read, open the individual job posting in an ordinary website tab and capture it again. Chrome's settings, new-tab and other browser pages cannot be captured.
Clearing extension storage, removing the extension or reinstalling it can remove pending uploads and local capture history. Check for saved or pending jobs first. If the result remains unclear, email support with the public job URL and the visible message.
AI assistant connections
How do I connect an AI assistant to the right account?
Review the requested permissions before approving a connection. Before reading or changing saved jobs, ask your assistant which RolePocket account is connected and what the connection can do. Check that it is the account you intended to use.
Contact support for setup help or to check whether your assistant and app are supported. Your assistant account and any separate subscription are managed by that provider.
How do I review or remove an assistant's access?
Sign in and open Connected AI assistants to review permissions or revoke a connection. Revoking stops future access through that connection. It does not erase copies already received by your assistant.
Does preparing an application submit it for me?
No. Preparing application materials does not submit an application. Review your materials before submitting them to the employer.
Billing, cancellations and refunds
How do I check or cancel my subscription?
Open Billing to check your subscription. To stop automatic renewal, choose Manage billing, then use the cancellation option in the Creem customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period, when workspace access ends.
What if my payment is not showing in RolePocket?
If a payment result is unclear, return to Billing and use Check payment again if offered, or Refresh billing. Check the subscription status before trying to purchase again. If the status still does not match your payment confirmation, contact support.
How do I request a refund or get help with billing?
If you cannot use the portal or need help with a payment, cancellation, refund or complaint, email support@rolepocket.com. Include your account email and order or subscription reference if available. You can make a request without an order reference or a particular form.
Goodwill refunds are reviewed case by case, separately from your statutory and provider rights. See the terms of service for cancellation, refund and complaint information, or use the optional cancellation form. New purchases depend on purchase availability.
Your data and privacy requests
Can I request my data after my subscription ends?
You can request access, an export or deletion at support@rolepocket.com free of charge, including after paid access ends. You do not need to resubscribe to make a privacy request. Include your account email and what you would like us to do. We may ask for proportionate information to verify the account before sharing or changing data.
Read the privacy notice for information about data, retention and connected AI assistants.
How do I delete my account?
Account deletion is available in account settings. Cancel any recurring subscription and verify cancellation before deleting the account. Account deletion alone is not proof that provider billing has stopped. Follow the deletion status page until it confirms completion; a pending request is still being processed.
Connection and service problems
What should I do if RolePocket is not connecting?
Check that your internet connection works and try reopening RolePocket. In the extension, open Settings and choose Test connection. Check that you are signed in to the intended account.
If a capture or payment may already have reached RolePocket, check Recent captures, your saved jobs or Billing before retrying. Keep pending uploads in place while you wait for the connection to recover.
If the problem continues or the website cannot be reached, email support@rolepocket.com with the time, affected feature, visible error and the checks you tried. We can help investigate and explain the next steps.
Contact support
How do I contact support, and what should I include?
Email support@rolepocket.com with what you were trying to do, what happened and any error message. Include when it happened and your browser or app version. For an assistant connection, include the assistant and whether you are using its website or desktop app.
A screenshot with private details removed can help. Please do not send passwords, sign-in codes, connection tokens, card details or a full CV. We will ask if more information is needed.
When can I expect a reply?
We check support email each business day. Reply times vary.
